What have you been doing since 1975?
After graduating from MHS, I went to
Eastern Arizona College (EAC) in Thatcher and got an AA degree in
electronics. Before graduating form EAC I got a job offer from
Honeywell Computer Division in Phoenix. After graduating I moved to
Phoenix and have been working at the same place for the past 23 years. It
is the same place however the name of the company keeps changing. It was Honeywell,
then Bull, then Wang, and now Getronics. I have had the opportunity to
travel through out the U.S. and as far away as Beijing China.
I waited till 1986 to get married and I
adopted her little girl, Stephanie. We had a son together in 1988 and his
name is Sean. Unfortunately we found out we were not compatible and we
divorced in 1995. It took a while before I started dating again but a
friend introduced me to a wonderful woman named Jenni. We dated for 3
years and we just got married on January 1st of this year. She has two
kids, Matt who is 18, and Amy who is 16. My daughter Stephanie is now 16
and my son Sean is now 11. Amazingly my kids and her kids get along great.
Memories of MHS:
Cruising Broad Street in Globe with
Eddie Valenzuela, Jim Vladeff and David Stanley. Going flying and fishing
with Larry Hawkins. (We never could kill anything). Working long
nights in the Concentrator's dark room. Building dugouts and storage
buildings in the Advanced Construction class. Being harassed by
Seniors when we were underclassmen then harassing the under classmen when we
were Seniors. Going camping with the outdoor education class. Being
in the band and praying before each performance that our men would return safely
from Vietnam.
