What I have been doing since 1975:
I married twice. Was a security guard
for Pinkerton at Pinto Valley. I went back into cooking for the Justa Café and
Heritage Healthcare. Went into nursing. I like 1:1 with patients. I help
my husband raise 2 of his daughters and my daughter. I have 9 step
grandchildren and one grandson 1 yr, 3 mo. Of my own. I live in Phoenix
which the money is good but I’d rather be home. I went to a class for
assistant teacher substitute. It was great, but the drive wasn’t.
I have 2 sons left at home to raise.
Memories of MHS:
I was asked by 2 Home Economics teachers to run for Miss Gila County.
I was assistant For Mr. Baack and Mr. Horr. I was in badminton for about 4
months. Tried out for Cheerleader which I really enjoyed. Met my
first husband there which I had fun walking and talking with and helping him in
class. I liked picking at Richard Santillan and David Andrade during
P.E. I liked harassing the men teachers which I was known for. I met
my friends there and my family went to school there.
