What I have been doing:
Patrick and I were High School Sweethearts. He graduated in 1982 and after
I graduated in 1984 we lived together and had our son Matthew and then we
got married and then had our daughter Jessica. We decided two kids was
plenty. We were living in Mesa at this time and lived there for 6 years and
then in 1991 decided it was time to move back home. So we have been here
ever since and I currently work at B.J. Cecil Trucking and have for the past
6 years and my husband is currently working at Motorla in Scottsdale due the
the shutdown at Pinto Valley. I love this town!!!
My memories:
I have very fun memories of Miami High School. Mr. Yanez and Mock Trial.
All of our Senior sponsors: Mr. Mitchell, Mrs. Ledbetter, Mr. Yanez, I loved
my senior year. When I was a Frosh and Soph our football team had taken
state and the games were packed and there was so much Miami High Spirit, it
was awesome. For Homecoming one year we had the Rough Riders and then came
in on a helicopter and landed on the field, that was so cool!!! My kids
attend Miami High right now and they are enjoying it like I did, except I
wish that school spirit would come back, I think it is slowly but surely.
