What I have been doing:

Well this could be a novel, I went to work in the oil fields of West Texas, what you hear about the oil field is correct it is a hard, dangerous job. I worked in the oil business for 10 years. My wife worked for state Farm Insurance, I was transferred to Weatherford in 1984 and shortly after the oil industry failed and I was laid off in 1986. I went to work for General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) as an aircraft mechanic in Ft Worth.  I moved up to supervisor and went to Korea for awhile to start up a program Lockheed had , then I went to Turkey for a year to start another program, these were working on F-16 fighters. I was laid off in 1994 when the Government cut some of our programs. My wife is a Senior Manager where she has been for 20 years ( not Insurance) so when I was laid off I decided to shoe and train horses this allowed me to attend all of my Daughters school functions while she was in high school until I went back to work for Lockheed in 2002 for the retirement. My wife and I both travel some with our jobs, she travels to Asia and Europe and I go to Japan now and then. We do a lot of camping and boating almost every weekend ,we have 4 lakes within a 45 min. drive of our house. I'm in the process of rebuilding a 1977 Corvette my wife bought me for my 48th birthday (no crises now). Well I better save something for the reunion I am really looking forward to it.

Memories of MHS:

Well my first car was a 1961 Ford Falcon and Jim Burns, Ross Clayton, Steve Hogan, Robert Hernandez and I drove it to death. Then I had a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500XL and we drove it to death. I remember loading up in Eddie Lisk 1957 Chevy at lunch and driving all the way to the other side of Globe grabbing a burrito from Redondos drive-in and then hauling butt back to school before the bell. I think I better leave the crushes and kisses alone so I can stay married another 28 years. I will say there were some.
