What I've been doing since 1975:
I cannot believe it will be 31 years since we
graduated, but time moves on. After moving to
Tucson
in 1976, I went to work for a Chevrolet Dealership,
but soon migrated over the Mining industry, (better pay). The strikes and layoff
offs began, so I looked for employment elsewhere. I started working for the
Postal Service in 1981 in
Tucson
as an automotive technician in the Vehicle
Maintenance Facility. I became a supervisor in 1986.
I’ll be starting my twenty sixth year with the
Postal Service which has brought many adventures, After twenty five years in
Tucson, in 2000 took a job with the Postal Service in Phoenix and moved to the
valley. In 2003, I was promoted to the Manager of Vehicle Maintenance position
in
Tucson
, so we moved back to
Tucson
. I am
the Manager of the facility where I began my Postal career.
In March of 2005, I took a leave of absence from the Postal Service and
worked in the
Washington
DC
area for an 18 month detail assignment and returned
to
Tucson
September of 2006.
My hobbies include, biking, golfing, drumming (still have my drums) and
waxing my PT Cruiser. Look forward to seeing everyone at the next reunion.
Take care and have safe travels.
Memories of MHS:
Wow! Lets see…my memories of High School, I
don’t have enough writing space to cover the good times and some bad, but I
recall the fun times at Roosevelt lake, my red Javaline, my motorcycle and
working at Bud's Chevron.
