What I have been doing since 1975:

     After Graduation I went to work as a carpenter apprentice. I worked all over
Gila County and the Valley for around 4 years. If you remember the job
market at the time was not very good for just out of school teens. So I
would work 8 months and then be out of work 4. The construction industry was
just too much up and down. Then in 1979 at the last minute I decided to take
the Tucson Fire Department test. Luck must have been with me those 3 days! I
was accepted to the Fire Department Academy. After the Academy I worked as a
Firefighter for 5 years. In 1985 I was promoted to Engineer. I have been
working on a Ladder company for the last 15 years.

In 1982 I re-met Margo Gonzales. She invited me to her birthday and the next
thing I know we are married!
She has blessed me with two beautiful children! We spend a lot of time
camping and taking them here and there (games, school, friends etc.)

Memories of MHS:

     Memories; I can remember the sights, sounds and smells of those days. I can
still see all those people hanging out at the top of the stairs in A
building. Laughing and joking around. I remember listening to the KIKO
Saturday show while washing the car at the Miami carwash. The smell of
burgers cooking at the Burger Box (and the smelter smoke too). But the Best
Memories are of all the Friendships that have lasted a lifetime!
