What I've been doing since 1975:
I have been married to Mike Martinez (no not monster) for 21 years
now. I have 3 children,2 boys and a girl, ages 30,19, and 17 (my girl). I have
been doing daycare for approx. 12 years also preschool director at Holy Angels
School for 11 years (director for 7 years) I do enjoy working with the children.
I am very involved with my family and work. I moved away in 1977 to Stockton,
California came back home (did not enjoy it there). Again in 1980 I moved to
Houston, Texas for about a year, then decided I wanted to come back home. I then
worked at Gila General Hospital for 8 years as a diet clerk and dishwasher. I
left to care for my three children who were 8, 1 1/2, and 3 years old then, when
the younger ones were old enough to start school I went back to work at HAS. I
do truly love what I do and regret I did not do this sooner! My oldest son is a
front end manager for Fry's grocery in Tempe. My two younger children are both
attending college. I am deeply saddened by the losses of our classmates and we
do not know when we will go home to our Lord. All I know is that we shall see
them again! God bless you all.
Memories of MHS:
My memories of MHS were not very good, for one, I did not do well in
school because I wanted to be in the wrong kind of crowd (the ones that did not
care enough about their educations) I am glad that I now have opened my eyes and
see that we get nowhere without an education anymore. I do remember walking to
school and walking home. I remember being very shy and to myself a lot.
