What I've been doing since 1975:

I worked for Inspiration twenty years. Got tired of all the lay offs and strikes and went into sales of manufactured mobile homes. When the market fell out I worked as a pipe fitter and maintenance mechanic for five years. Then decided I wanted to be my own boss, went to refrigeration school and started my own business in 2003. After a couple of years my wife and I decided it was time for her to come aboard as I needed an office manager. Now I'm still not my own boss! We like to camp with our friends and family. We take the sandrail out speeding around. We like to attend Suns, Cardinals and Diamondback games. We recently moved out by the Superstition Mountains on an acreage so we can get horses for the grandkids and us. Stay busy with a large family of children and grandchildren.

Memories of MHS:

I remember first grade playing kick ball with Greg Sims and other kids. Kicking the ball into the pit before the bell would ring so someone would have to go get it. I remember the George Washington Elementary School. Sliding down fire escapes, the overpass, burgerhouse and the burros. Miami High School, a lot of good memories. A lot of close friends, bowling alley, football games and one of my best memories is going to lunch one time and Coke wasn't allowed off campus. We were in his brothers car which had no speakers in the back. Coke was in the trunk speaking into the speaker cover saying, this KIKO in Globe/Miami Arizona and Mr. Ramero looking all around to see who was speaking. Real good memories.. Favorite teachers, Mr. Romero, shop teacher. Mr. Gorman, PE teacher. Miss Lee and Miss Cecil, substitute teacher.
