What I've been doing since 1975:

Wow, what an awesome website to find!  It is such a very cool thing to be able to catch up on old classmates this way - thank you!  It sure makes me regret missing the last reunion.

I've married and divorced twice but have four wonderful, awesome children who have given me 7 grandchildren (do I get the prize now?)  I now only have my 14 year old at home.  My strength at MHS besides sports was all the office classes....sooo of course, my first job was in the offices of Magma Copper Co., as a Keypunch/Computer Operator.  It's so funny when I think back on how absolutely ancient and humongous (and intimidating) those machines were - it was definitely old school!  During my time there I had my second child and decided to stay home for awhile.  Then I went to work for the Gila County Probation Department where I stayed for eight years - I worked across the hall from Annie Moreno Escobedo and Liz Falquez Fetterman.  I divorced and moved to Payson, Arizona.  After my marriage to Joe (Danny) Stapleton went downhill, the gossip that went around Globe/Miami haunts me to this day!  That was such a “yukky” period in my life!  With the help of the steadfast and loyal friendship of Cathy Levario, who will always be my best friend, I got through alot of the rough times.  I WILL take this opportunity to say 'THANK YOU' to Cathy for never judging and always just being there as a true friend no matter what!  Cathy is still the only classmate I’m in contact with (halfway) – we’re both so bad at that long-distance communication stuff

Was Office Manager at Gila County Probation in Globe until 1988.....then I went to work for an engineering firm for a short while in Payson, then back to government work for the state and federal, all in the Payson area.  After my second divorce, (don't say it!). I chose to stay in Payson because both of my girls were still in school and I now work for the tribal government in Payson as an Employee Benefits Coordinator.  I'm just a single mother struggling to be happy and sooooo enjoying my grandchildren.

Memeories of MHS.

Winning State in Tennis and Badminton!  Those trips...the practices that lasted until 9-10 pm at night.  Ms. Roberds had such an awesome sports program that included both athletes and non-athletes.  If it wasn't for that sports program .....……..

and, Of course, cruising Globe, the Globe-Miami football games, always being "outside the cool circle" unless it was about sports.  Was it Robert H that fell into the campfire on graduation night?

Would love to hear from classmates either at my email or on myspace!
